The first week of December, a team visited one of the orphanages operated by the Salesian Sisters in Haiti. We reviewed their plans for an additional facility which will ultimately take in 150 orphans who most likely are currently living on the street and are in need of a home and an education. We also visited the building site where construction has started. The Sisters will build bungalows one by one, each being for fifteen girls and a housemother. The bungalows, school building and recreational facilities will be started only as funds become available.
